Customer Export in Tabs: How to and Fields Exported

Overview
The Customer Export in Tabs provides a complete list of your customers along with key identifiers and metadata used across the platform.
This export is especially useful for:
Reconciling data with external systems (CRM, ERP, tax solutions)
Building custom reports in Excel or BI tools
Auditing customer setup and configuration

Navigate to the Customers page in Tabs
Click Export
Download the CSV file
Fields Included in the Customer Export
Below are the key fields included in the export and how to use them.
Core Identifiers (Must Use for Reporting)
Customer ID
Unique identifier for the customer in Tabs. Use this to join with other Tabs exports (e.g. invoices, transactions, ARR).Name
The customer name in Tabs. Not reliable for joins across systems.Name with Prefix
Alternate formatted name. Typically not used for reporting joins.
integration External IDs
CRM ID
Identifier from your CRM system.ERP ID
Identifier from your ERP system.Tax Solution ID
Identifier from your tax provider.
These IDs may be populated depending on your integrations and are the most reliable way to reconcile data across systems. Do not rely on names.

Indicates how the customer was created (e.g. API, manual, integration).
Billing Information
Billing Contact Email
Primary billing contact for the customer.CC Emails
Additional recipients for billing communications.Billing Address
Customer billing address used for invoices.
Operational Fields
Number of Contracts
Total number of contracts associated with the customer.Number of Processes
Number of workflows/processes configured for the customer.
Custom Fields
Any customer-level custom fields configured in Tabs will also appear as columns in the export.
