To turn off automatic matching in QuickBooks Online, you can do the following: 

  1. Go to Transactions

  2. Select Bank transactions

  3. Select the Categorized or Reviewed tab

  4. Select Settings at the top of the transaction list

  5. Select Automatic matching to turn it Off
