Installing the Tabs Support App

To streamline routing of your issues and facilitate faster response times, please install the Tabs Support App in your Slack workspace.

Installation

  1. Open the installation link:
    https://support-ops-workflow.onrender.com/slack/install

  2. Review the requested Slack permissions.

  3. Click Allow to install the app.

  4. After installation, you'll see a confirmation page that says:

    "App installed! You can close this tab."

Add the App to Your Shared Channel

After the app has been installed in your Slack workspace, invite it to the shared channel with Tabs by running:

/invite @support_request

Once the app has joined the channel, anyone in your workspace can use /tabs-help.

Using /tabs-help

  1. In your shared Slack channel with Tabs, type:

    /tabs-help
    
  2. A support request form will appear.

  3. Fill out the following fields:

    • Product area

    • Subject

    • Description

  4. Click Submit.

  5. You'll immediately receive a confirmation message in the channel.

Your request will be routed to the appropriate team for review and follow-up.
