How a Customer can Update Credit Card Information

Learn how a customer can update the credit card information associated with merchant Tabs account. There are two methods available: merchant can update it or the customer can during invoice payment.

Step-by-Step Instructions

There are two options in which a customer can update the credit card linked to their account:

  1. The customer can give merchant the credit card information, and merchant can:

    • Click on the Customers tab

    • Click on the customer profile who wants the change

    • Click 'More' on the top right of the customer page

    • Click Billing Settings

    • Click '+ Add payment method'

    • Enter card information accordingly

  2. If the customer is not on autopay (toggle autopay off if needed), after the invoice is sent the customer, the customer can:

    • Open up the payment link

    • Enter the desired card they want to pay with

    • Click 'Pay Now'

    • Then the new credit card will save to Tabs
