Connecting Tabs to Your General Ledger (GL)

Summary

Tabs integrates directly with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite, enabling seamless data synchronization. Other general ledgers (GLs) are supported via CSV downloads or API connections. For additional GL support, contact the team via Slack or email support@tabsplatform.com.

Integration Instructions

QuickBooks Online

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page.

  2. Click Connect on QuickBooks Online.

  3. You will be redirected to Intuit’s authentication page.

  4. Log in and grant Tabs access to sync with QuickBooks.

NetSuite

  1. Contact your implementation manager or customer success team for setup.

  2. Provision an account in NetSuite Sandbox for initial configuration.

  3. Tabs will complete integration and testing within Sandbox.

  4. Once validated, the integration will be replicated in NetSuite Production.

Requirements

  • QuickBooks Online: Requires administrator access to connect. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported.

  • NetSuite: Requires the ability to provision a developer account in both NetSuite Sandbox and NetSuite Production.

Best Practices

  • NetSuite: Ensure that your Sandbox environment has been synced with Production within the last few months to maintain data consistency.
