About this feature
By default, all invoice and payment reminder emails sent from Tabs come from a Tabs email (no-reply@tabsapp.com).
With Custom Email Domain enabled, Tabs can send invoices using your company’s email address, such as:
Your customers will see your email instead of a Tabs email.
Any replies (questions, disputes, payment confirmations) will go directly to your inbox, not Tabs.
Setup Requirements

Step 3: Add DNS records | Tabs will send an automated email to your IT/DevOps contact with the necessary DNS records. Your IT team will: You’ll receive an automated email asking you to verify the domain, click the confirmation button. |
Step 4: Tabs activates your domain | After DNS is verified, Tabs will activate your custom domain on our side. Once active: All future outgoing emails (invoices, reminders) will come from your custom address Customer replies will route back to your inbox

Unable to create an inbox/group | Escalate to IT or DevOps permissions |
FAQs
Can we have multiple From: addresses?
Not yet. At the moment, Tabs supports one sender domain per merchant.
Is this self-serve?
No. Tabs will need to activate and validate once DNS is set up.
Will this improve deliverability?
Yes. SPF/DKIM authentication improves inbox placement and reduces spam filtering.
