Unmapped Product Error

Problem

You may see an Unmapped Product error if one or more products on an invoice do not have a valid tax code mapping in Sphere.

Resolution

  1. Log in to Sphere.

  2. Review your product tax mappings.

  3. Assign the appropriate tax code.

  4. Return to Tabs and regenerate the invoice.

Invalid Address Error

Problem

Sphere cannot determine the correct tax jurisdiction for the customer's address.

Resolution

  1. Open the customer or invoice in Tabs.

  2. Review the billing address.

  3. Correct any missing or invalid information.

  4. Retry the tax calculation.

Integration Disconnected

Problem

The Sphere connection is no longer active.

Resolution

  1. Open the Sphere integration in Tabs.

  2. Click Reconnect.

  3. Enter a valid Sphere API key.

  4. Save your changes.

Why Don't Invoices Appear in Sphere Immediately?

Sphere retrieves invoice data from Tabs on a scheduled basis.

As a result, invoices may not appear in Sphere immediately after being sent.

This does not impact tax calculations or tax filing workflows.

What Happens When an Invoice Is Voided?

When an invoice is voided in Tabs, Sphere recognizes the status change during its next sync and processes the corresponding tax adjustments automatically.

Can I Reset an Invoice?

When Sphere is your active tax provider, sent invoices generally cannot be reset after tax calculations have been finalized.

If a sent invoice needs to be corrected, contact Tabs Support for guidance.
