1. Customer Payment via Tabs Portal
   When a customer chooses to pay via the Tabs customer portal, they can select either ACH Credit or ACH Debit. This payment option is linked to your Stripe account.

2. Payment Authorization
   Tabs sends a request to Stripe to process the invoiced payment amount using the customer’s card information. Stripe then charges the customer’s card or bank account for the specified amount.

3. Payment Processing

   • Card payments: Stripe processes the payment immediately, charging the customer’s card and transferring the funds into the merchant's Stripe account balance.

   • ACH payments: Bank account payments take 5-6 days to process, and the invoice will remain pending until the bank confirms or declines the payment.

4. Payout Scheduling
   The balance in the your Stripe account can be set up to automatically schedule payouts to the merchant's bank account, streamlining cash flow management.
